Gold has risen more than 14% in just three weeks.
COMEX gold finished Friday at around $4,624 per ounce, roughly 14.2% higher than three weeks ago. What makes the move even more interesting is how quickly sentiment shifted after gold briefly fell below $4,000 in June.
For a market this large, that is a very sharp reversal.
What stands out to me is not simply that gold is higher. It is how quickly buyers returned after a meaningful correction.
The drop below $4,000 could easily have developed into a much deeper selloff. Instead, gold recovered the entire decline and moved significantly higher.
Moves like this are a good reminder of how quickly the market can reprice when strong demand returns.
After years of watching gold, one thing keeps repeating: the biggest moves rarely wait until everyone feels comfortable.
