Silver is up roughly 2% today, trading around $69 an ounce, while gold is gaining about 1%.
Another session where silver is doing what it often does when momentum returns to precious metals: moving faster than gold.
The interesting part is that this isn’t happening in isolation. The Gold/Silver Ratio has been falling, showing that silver has been steadily gaining relative strength against gold.
Gold remains the anchor of the precious metals market.
But when both metals are rising and silver starts pulling ahead, that’s usually the part of the move I watch more closely.
$70 is getting very close again.
