When central banks consistently and steadily increase their gold reserves, I pay close attention. It reinforces my belief that gold will play an increasingly important role in the global monetary system in the years ahead.
Central banks typically make strategic decisions with a time horizon measured in years, not months. China’s accelerating gold purchases suggest that it continues to view gold as a critical long-term reserve asset. While no single factor determines future prices, I believe this trend provides strong long-term fundamental support for gold.
Do you think central banks know something the market is still ignoring? Let me know in the comments.
