Silver continues to trade at elevated levels, currently around $63.5 per ounce, after gaining around 10% this week. Following a sharp correction from its previous high near $120 per ounce, the metal has successfully reclaimed the important $60 level, marking a notable improvement in market sentiment.
The rally has been supported by a combination of expectations for lower U.S. interest rates, a weaker U.S. dollar, and continued investor interest in precious metals. At the same time, silver’s strong industrial demand continues to provide a solid long-term fundamental backdrop.
Although prices remain well below the previous peak, a weekly gain of around 10% is a significant move for the silver market. Investors will now be watching closely to see whether silver can maintain its position above $60 and build on its recent momentum in the coming weeks.
