Anyone who has ever started stacking silver eventually asks the same question: what kind of silver should I actually buy?

On COMEX, silver trades around $73 per ounce.

In Shanghai, the same physical silver is closer to $81.

The difference? About 11% — and it’s been holding for months.

Question:

If refineries are full and everyone around me is selling silver, is that a reason why silver prices should fall sharply?

Answer:

No.

Diamonds were long considered a symbol of rarity and luxury. Modern technology, however, has shown that their uniqueness is not as absolute as people once believed. Today, diamonds can be produced in laboratories.

The situation around Iran shows how quickly geopolitics can shake the entire global economy. Rising tensions, risks to oil supply, and higher inflation are creating uncertainty across markets.

That alone isn’t the problem.

The problem is—it’s no longer cheap.
Interest costs are heading toward $1 trillion per year
and rising fast.

When I first started investing in silver, experienced investors told me that silver is not a path to quick riches, and that the only thing that truly matters is the number of ounces you own—not the price in dollars.

What’s happening in Japan right now doesn’t feel like a normal move in the bond market. Yields are at multi-decade highs and rising across maturities.
